Blazon of Beauties

C'est la vie

I belong up there, I know it.  Those flashing lights should spell my name.  I can see it, I can see it.  The path is full of curious things, interesting times, and fuzzy peoples.  Clear edges.  Beautiful insides.  And brand new hats.

In strange and wonderful places, I can see my body.  My face.  My eyes.  I can see the suit I am wearing.  I can see the set, and the bright bright lights that drown out everything.  And then I can see someone take a picture of me, but the lights are so bright, everything around me is drowned out, and I stand there.

And then when it is all wrapped, I can see my beautiful children.  Two of them.  I wanted three, but a third one is on the way.  I can see a beautiful garden..  I’ve wanted a garden so much ever since I had that one as a child.  One that my children will miss when they are 20.  One they will make for their children, and their children will miss again.

One that everyone will miss when they are young and broke.  And the only thing that keeps them going is how full of hope they are.  And how full of beautiful dreams.
